These standards regulate wood packaging material (pallets, cases, etc.) used in International trade, in force since 1 st October 2002 towards the People's Republic of China and since 1 st January 2004 towards the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, South Korea. During the second half of 2004 this standard will also be adopted towards member countries of the European Union.

The standard requires that all wood packaging materials exported to the above mentioned countries, with some exceptions, must undergo a sterilization treatment certified by the national Phytosanitary Service; this treatment will be verified on the packaging by a specified mark on at least opposite sides of the article itself.

We are also able to supply dried packaging for all your needs and issue, upon r equest, the documentation regarding the degree of humidity measured in the wood.
